Made, slowly

There is something almost absurd about working with clay. You take earth - plain, heavy, unremarkable - and, with just your hands, a little water, and a lot of waiting, it becomes something else entirely. A cup that holds your morning coffee. A small, sturdy witness to the quiet moments of your day. But clay is stubborn; it cracks, it slumps, it will not be hurried. And maybe that's the whole point: to soften the rush. Cerana Ceramics is my way of sharing that strange and wonderful lesson - one piece at a time!
